De opvolger van de Canvio Desk combineert een opslagcapaciteit tot maar liefst 6 TB<sup>[1]<\/sup> met een toekomstbestendige USB 3.0-poort voor eenvoudige en snelle bestandsoverdracht.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Met de Canvio for Desktop kunnen gebruikers bestanden en back-ups centraal opslaan, vlak naast de computer. Het apparaat is verkrijgbaar met verschillende opslagcapaciteiten \u2013 2, 3, 4, 5 en 6 TB \u2013 en biedt plaats aan duizenden foto\u2019s, muziektracks en andere bestanden. Dankzij de USB 3.0-technologie kunnen grote bestanden in een oogwenk zijn gedownload of overgezet. Daarbij is de USB 3.0-poort achterwaarts compatibel, wat betekent dat u probleemloos verbinding kunt maken met oudere hardware via USB 2.0-poorten. De Canvio for Desktop-harddrives zijn NTFS-geformatteerd voor Windows 10, Windows 8.1 en Windows\u00ae 7 en worden geleverd met een NTFS-driver voor Mac, zodat u Windows- of Mac-pc\u2019s kunt gebruiken zonder opnieuw te formatteren.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Met de standaard back-upsoftware, die u naadloos kunt afstemmen op uw computer, kunt er van op aan dat uw bestanden optimaal zijn beveiligd. U kunt zelf instellen wanneer en hoe vaak er automatische back-ups worden uitgevoerd, zodat kwijtgeraakte familiefoto\u2019s en \u2013video\u2019s tot het verleden behoren.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Het stijlvolle en veelzijdige design van de Canvio for Desktop is geschikt om horizontaal \u00e9n verticaal op uw bureau te plaatsen. Het is eigenlijk een moderne kluis: een wachtwoord voorkomt dat onbevoegde gebruikers zich toegang verschaffen tot uw persoonlijke gegevens en daarnaast is de schijf voorzien van een fysiek veiligheidsslot, waarmee ook diefstal van de hardware wordt voorkomen. De energiebesparende ECO-power-off-technologie zorgt er verder voor dat de harde schijf wordt uitgeschakeld zodra de aangesloten pc wordt uitgezet.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">De Canvio for Desktop is uitgevoerd in de kleur zwart en zal leverbaar zijn met de capaciteiten 2 TB, 3 TB, 4 TB, 5 TB en 6 TB.
