1. September 2015<\/i> \u2013 Toshiba bringt f\u00fcnf neue SATA-HDDs auf den Markt, die f\u00fcr unterschiedlichste Einsatzbereiche entwickelt wurden. F\u00fcr Desktop-PCs sind die drei 3,5-Zoll (8,9 cm)-Modelle X300, P300 und E300 konzipiert und f\u00fcr Notebooks die 2,5-Zoll (6,4 cm)-Festplatten H200 und L200.<\/b><\/p>\n

F\u00fcr extrem hohe Anforderungen an Performance und Verf\u00fcgbarkeit \u2013 wie im Grafikdesign- oder Gaming-Bereich \u2013 ist das neue HDD-Modell X300 die richtige L\u00f6sung. Die HDD bietet eine hohe Speicherdichte und -kapazit\u00e4t; erh\u00e4ltlich sind Modelle mit 4, 5 und 6 TB (1). Mit einem 128 MB gro\u00dfen Pufferspeicher, einer Umdrehungsgeschwindigkeit von 7.200 rpm und einem Dual-Stage Actuator, der die Genauigkeit bei der Positionierung des Schreib-Lese-Kopfes verbessert, wird eine stabile Performance und hohe Geschwindigkeit sichergestellt.<\/p>\n

Die neue HDD P300 bietet einen 64 MB gro\u00dfen Pufferspeicher, eine Umdrehungsgeschwindigkeit von 7.200 rpm und eine SATA-6-Gbit\/s-Schnittstelle. Das Laufwerk ist verf\u00fcgbar mit einer Speicherkapazit\u00e4t von 500 GB, 1 TB, 2 TB und 3 TB.<\/p>\n

Mit der Desktop-HDD E300 steht ein extrem energieeffizientes Modell mit geringer Ger\u00e4uschentwicklung zur Verf\u00fcgung. Der Energieverbrauch der beiden HDDs mit 2 TB (5.700 rpm) und 3 TB (5.940 rpm) liegt um bis zu 25 Prozent niedriger als bei Festplatten mit einer Umdrehungsgeschwindigkeit von 7.200 rpm.<\/p>\n

Neu im Portfolio von Toshiba im 2,5-Zoll-Bereich ist das Solid State Hybrid Drive H200, das mit Speicherkapazit\u00e4ten von 500 GB oder 1 TB zur Verf\u00fcgung steht. Es bietet dank der NAND-Technologie von Toshiba die Performance einer SSD und zus\u00e4tzlich die hohe Speicherkapazit\u00e4t einer HDD. Das Laufwerk kann zum einen bei Notebooks eingesetzt und zum anderen auch f\u00fcr Upgrades bei PCs oder Spielekonsolen verwendet werden.<\/p>\n

Das neue HDD-Portfolio von Toshiba wird abgerundet vom Modell L200, das ebenfalls mit 500 GB oder 1 TB erh\u00e4ltlich ist und f\u00fcr Mobile-Computing-Anwendungen konzipiert ist.<\/p>\n

Die neuen Produkte sind im Hinblick auf hohe Performance und Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit ausgelegt. Alle Modelle unterst\u00fctzen den Advanced-Format (AF)-Standard, der die Formatierungseffizienz verbessert, und basieren auf den Technologien Perpendicular Magnetic Recording (PMR) und Tunnel Magneto-Resistive (TMR). Ein hoher Schutz vor Datenverlust wird durch die Ramp-Load-Technologie und den integrierten Schocksensor sichergestellt. Zudem unterst\u00fctzen die neuen Festplatten auch das Verfahren Native Command Queuing (NCQ) zur optimierten Verwaltung von Aufzeichnungskommandos.<\/p>\n

Die HDDs X300, P300 (2- und 3-TB-Modell), E300 und H200 sind zus\u00e4tzlich mit Toshibas Dual-Stage Actuator (DSA) ausgestattet. Dar\u00fcber hinaus verf\u00fcgen die beiden Modelle E300 und H200 auch \u00fcber RV (Rotational Vibration)-Sensoren zur Kompensation m\u00f6glicher Vibrationen.<\/p>\n

Ein Betriebssystem hingegen weist Speicherkapazit\u00e4ten in Zweierpotenzen aus (1 GB = 2 hoch 30 = 1.073.741.824 Bytes und 1 TB = 2 hoch 40 = 1.099.511.627.776 Bytes) und zeigt deshalb weniger Speicherplatz an.
