At booth C04 at CloudFest 2025, March 17 – 20<\/strong>, we presented our HDD portfolio for Cloud- and Enterprise infrastructures. Our live Peta Scale Cloud storage demonstration together with our partners Open-E, AIC, QNAP and Microchip delivered valuable insights on how our HDDS foster AI applications.<\/p>\n

In his presentation Senior Manager Rainer W. Kaese recapulated the history of HDD, outlined why HDDs are indispensable for cloud infrastructures and explain why AI applications deeply rely on HDD performance.<\/p>\n

Raffle
\r\nCrash and win<\/h2>\n

At CloudFest 2025, the visitors of Toshiba’s booth had the chance to win a QNAP 2-bay NAS with two Toshiba N300 NAS Hard Drives 4TB. For this purpose, we set up a system with 60 Toshiba drives to test how tough they stand up during hot removal. The participants of the raffle had to pull a random drive and if the system crashed, they won.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
